Hi Bun Friends,
Wow how time flies! I can't believe it's already been a year since we first started this little puppy up! I wanted to first thank all of the supporters, people who have donated, the connections we've made and people like YOU who are reading this right now! Thank you!
I wanted to give some insights on what we have accomplished in the past year and what some of our next projects are to follow. See below:
-We became an official 501c3 tax exempt status nonprofit organization! YEEHAW!
-Developed an advisory board team with 3 members ( shout out to Kelly, Katrina and Sophie)
-Started this website, blog and newsletter!
-Hired an artist to do all of our logos and designs ( Thank you Weronika! You are amazing!)
-Held 2 SUCCESSFUL fundraisers ( Buns for Buns and Brews for Buns) Both will be annual events as well!
-Connected with Beagle Freedom Project for our 1st rescue ( HOLY MOLY!)
-Networked with wonderful people like yourself!
There are of course other things that we have been working on but those are the big ones to mention!
Next year we hope to rally in more fundraisers and awareness events so we can accomplish the 1st rescue. This will involve raising money for the following:
-Transportation costs ( Buns will be arriving from CA!)
-Spay/Neuter/ Veterinary costs ( All new buns will need this procedure done as well as an initial vet check.)
-Barn Build+ Greenhouse attachment ( Yes, we will be building a barn for these hoppers! This will be used as a holding space for buns waiting for adoption/fostering.)
-Overall costs of buns ( food, housing, bedding, litter, bowls, snacks, ect.)
We will need all the help we can get as the rescue approaches! If you are interested in getting more involved either volunteering, adopting, donating, ANYTHING- we will be grateful for any support you can give to us.
